The Cards
There are many fun cards in Christmas Chaos. Each card has instructions in bold on how to play it.
Presents: placing a Present card around the fireplace counts as one present, the Double Present counts as two. The effects only activate when they are first placed on a fireplace.
Christmas Tree: You can only have one above your fireplace at a time.
Present Thief: steal a present or if you have three, play these cards in one turn to steal another player’s Christmas tree to add above your fireplace, or your hand.
Santa’s Elf: place one at a time on your fireplace. Once you have two on your fireplace you earn the Santa card and discard the two Santa’s Elves. When you have two more Santa’s Elves beside your fireplace and the Santa card you win.
Shadow Elf: play immediately unless you have a Shadow Elf Whacker in your hand. If you can’t play a Whacker from your hand discard one card from your fireplace in the following order: Christmas Tree, Double Present, Present, Bad Present. Draw a card to end your turn.
Christmas Chaos: hand in all cards around the fireplaces except for the Santa card and the Present Elf card.
